REFERRALS,
FEES &
REBATES

You do not need a referral to see us. However, a Mental Health Care Plan or a Primary Enhanced Care Plan for your child/adolescent, from your GP or Paediatrician will allow you to claim a Medicare rebate. Please check the Medicare website for up-to-date information.

The standard sessions are 50 minutes in length. The session fees for weekday appointments are well below than the recommended rate by The Australian Psychological Society. Please contact Reception (02 6100 7383) for weekend fee schedule, for information as to what fees may apply to you as consultation fees depend on the length and type of the session. The full fee is payable at the end of each session.

Eliza is registered with all major private health insurance providers. Speak to your health insurance provider regarding the rebate that you are eligible. Note that private health insurance rebates can only be claimed where Medicare rebates are not claimed.

If you are self-managed under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you can make an appointment and pay privately using your funding. If you are not self-managed, you can make an appointment and we organise payment.

Appointments for diagnostic assessments vary in length, and can be over several sessions. Cost of assessments varies according to complexity of assessment – to be discussed at time of booking and/or at the initial session. Most therapy sessions are via online.

Requests for additional reports, letters to funding agencies, non-standard letters to medical practitioners will incur a fee (hourly rate applies).

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please advise our reception staff as soon as possible so that we are able to offer the time to another client. Less than 24 hours of cancellation notice or no attendance will incur a scheduled appointment fee.
